논문 초록 (Abstract)

This study analyzed to present various alternatives for effective class operation using metaverse platforms when conducting entrepreneurship education. The study presents a standard model for effective class operation in entrepreneurship education using the metaverse platform. The traditional PDI methodology was applied to the preparation - curriculum development - improvement of entrepreneurship education linked to enterprises of the university's interdisciplinary major. In this course, students were experimentally allowed to operate a virtual company using the metaverse. During the 15-week class, learners were asked for their opinions on the course content, interaction method and improvement measures every class time, and the contents were analyzed. The research results are as follows. First, there was almost no difference between online and offline using the metaverse in terms of understanding the class. However, noise and disconnection caused by individual differences in microphone performance and online connection status of participants were factors that interfered with the class. Second, in terms of the presence of the lecture, there was no significant difference between the offline lecture environment in the learning of theoretical learning or the presentation of research materials. Rather, it was found that it feels more convenient than the offline environment when sharing and presenting presentation materials. Third, in terms of the class atmosphere of the learning participants, it was found that it is necessary to learn the use of the functions of the metaverse platform in advance. As a result of the answer that the actual class was conducted through video calls due to the lack of proficiency in the use of the functions of the Gather Town program used in this course, it was found that the effective operation of the class is affected by the use of various functions provided by the characteristics of the metaverse platform. Fourth, the importance of prior knowledge of corporate management and entrepreneurship education. In order to solve real-world corporate problems, it is necessary to acquire basic management knowledge to improve the effectiveness of class operation. Finally, for enterprise-linked courses, in order to clearly grasp the requirements of the startups, close cooperation for problem-solving, etc., the number of offline meetings should be increased and the scope and goals of the achievement should be clearly defined through the active participation of students from the design stage before the start of the class. This study analyzed the operation case of an entrepreneurship course at a specific university, and there are limitations in standardizing it, but it provides academic implications in that it attempted to design a professorship in which classes are possible in the metaverse environment in conjunction with startups, and practical implications in that it analyzed the course content and students' class satisfaction and problems in class operation in detail for one semester.
