We study the elliptic equation Delta u + mu/vertical bar x vertical bar(2) + K(vertical bar x vertical bar)u(p) = 0 in R-n\{0}, where n >= 1 and p > 1. In particular, when K(vertical bar x vertical bar) = vertical bar x vertical bar(l), a classification of radially symm etric solutions is presented in terms of mu and l. Moreover, we explain the separation structure for the equation, and study the stability of positive radial solutions as steady states.
