논문 초록 (Abstract)

Structural and thermal characteristics of fast-deposited poly-para-xylylene (parylene) films were investigated. A transparent parylene film exhibiting high transmittance and low haze was successfully deposited with an evaporation speed of >500 nm/min. Based on Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray dif fraction, it was demonstrated that thefast-deposited parylene films possessed the same molecular structure and d-spacing as slow-deposite d parylene films. However, differential scanning calorimetry confi rmed that the fast-deposited parylene films exhibited lower melting t emperatures and melting enthalpies than the slow-deposited parylene fil ms. These results imply that the fast-deposited parylene films ma y experience restricted movement of monomers on the cold substrate d uring poly-merization in terms of the product film. Ultrathin flexible OLED5 with a green fluorescent emitter were also successfully fabricated on this fast-depositedparylene substrate. (C) 2017 Elsevi er B.V. All rights reserved.
