논문 초록 (Abstract)
In this paper, experimental research was performed to investigate the seismic performance of a Precast Concrete (PC) wall structure designed in accordance with current design code and with two types of vertical connection for wall reinforcement, such as bolt connection through steel box and corrugate sleeve connection. In the design of the specimens, 1) Strength design for the stress acting on the walls of the target building in accordance with current design (KCI 2017), and 2) Connection design 1.5 times stronger than the wall by applying the design conditions required for precast concrete intermediate shear walls (ACI 2019) are considered. A single floor wall of an actual building was targeted, and horizontal joints with slabs on both sides were planned. For loading, a ball jig was installed on the slab and the upper beam for loading to prevent out-of-plane deformation of the specimen, then, the behavior of the PC wall was evaluated by applying increasing cyclic lateral force. As a result of the experiment, the strength of the PC wall specimens all exceeded the nominal strength, and it was shown that the structure secured a sufficient seismic performance to resist earthquakes.
